Description
The heads are so solid you could stand on them. Lovely crisp texture to the creamy white hearts. Can be planted at 30cm spacings, stands well and crops from September onwards.

Where to sow
Sow seeds thinly in pots or trays under glass at 13°C or later sowings in a seed bed outside or under cloches in shallow rows 1.5cm (3/4") deep and 15cm (6") apart.
What to do next
When glasshouse seedlings are about 8cm (3") tall, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. Harden off as soon as possible for planting in the growing site 45cm (17") apart in April. Thin outdoor sowings to 10cm (4") apart and transplant when 15cm (5") tall.
