Description
As easy to grow as tomatoes and requiring much of the same treatment. Peppers can be grown outside, so long as they are in a sheltered sunny area, but best results are usually obtained when they are grown in a polytunnel or a glasshouse. Peppers are delicious when used raw in salads but are also very tasty when cooked. They can be stuffed, roasted or added to sauces. New Ace F1 is very productive and early with a slightly spreading habit. It produces dark green fruits turning bright red as they mature, but can be picked at any time. .

Where to sow
In seed trays or pots just covering with fine sieved compost in greenhouse at 22°C. Cover with glass or polythene to retain humidity. .
What to do next
