Product Questions

Where are the products you sell manufactured?
Most of the product we stock are manufactured in the UK, however a number of the plastic pot range are manufactured in Holland and Germany.

I can't find the product I require on your website, can you source it for me?
We are working very hard to cover a wider range of product, each season we review all of the products we stock and where improvements could be made. We now deal with a number of manufacturers across Europe if you are looking for a product that isn't listed on our website please contact us via our contact page and we'll be more than happy to assist.

Do you have or need a packers license?
No, Plant Pots Direct do not hold a packers license or certificate. Having consulted with Kings Seeds, DEFRA (Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs) and APHA (The Animal and Plant Health Agency) it was deemed that no license was required as we are just a retailer of seeds supplied by Kings Seeds. So we are in no way braking any laws by selling seeds as a product.

Do you product the seeds you sell?
No the seeds we sell are produced, packed, marketed and supplied by Kings Seeds.

Order Questions

Do you have a minimum or maximum order?
Our business is based on supplying products to customers, we are happy to supply any amount of our products even if its just one item.

Can you provide a VAT receipt?
At present Plant Pots Direct is not a VAT registered business so we do not charge VAT on any of our product, therefore we can not provide a VAT receipt for the goods you purchase.

Payment Questions

How do I pay for my order?
As part of the shopping cart facility on the website you can pay for your order as part of the process. After entering your order and your shipping details, you will be prompted for how you would like to pay for your order. Simply select the option which suits you and enter your details.

Who processes your card payments?
If you would like to pay for your order by debit or credit card, you have 2 options (SagePay or PayPal) both options take all major cards and are process immediately.

I want to pay by PayPal do I have to have a PayPal account?
No, PayPal will give you the option to enter your card details without have to have a PayPal account.

Can I pay for my order by Cheque?
Yes, simply select this option when making your order. Full details of Payee and address will be given when selecting this option.
 *Please note that orders will only be despatched once a cheque has been received.

Delivery Questions

What is your delivery charge?
Please refer to our Delivery information page for detailed information regarding delivery to Mainland United Kingdom or our International delivery information page for deliveries outside the UK.

Where do you deliver to?
Plant Pots Direct delivers to all UK addresses including the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and Southern Ireland. We can also deliver to other countries outside our regular delivery zones, please contact us via our contact page to obtain a quotation.

Who delivers your goods?
For our smaller products we use Royal Mail. For all other products we use Parcel Force. To remain competitive, from time to time we may use other couriers.

Can I track my order online?
When we have processed your order we will send you a dispatch notification to confirm that your order is ready to be dispatched, the email will also tell you who will be delivering your parcel. If your item is to be delivered by Royal Mail, unfortunately there is no tracking with this service. If your item is to be delivered by a courier, simply follow the link and enter the tracking number that will be supplied in the dispatch notification email.

How long does it take for our orders to be delivered?
We usually operate on a 48 hour turn-a-round for all orders, so once you have placed your order we aim to get your order in the post within 48 hours. If we are unable to meet this deadline we will contact you to advise an expected dispatch date. Once the order has been dispatched, delivery is 1-5 working days depending on the Postal/Courier systems.

Can I collect my order?
Orders can be collected in person, if you would like to do this simply select this option when placing your order and contact us via our contact page to arrange a convenient time to collect your items. If you would like to pay for your items on collection simply contact us to confirm we have the items in stock and to arrange a convenient time.

My order hasn't been delivered?
The first question is has the delivery period been beyond the recommended delivery time (1-3 working days or 3-5 working days) if not please wait until beyond these periods before reporting a problem.

If your item was due to be delivered by Royal Mail (See your dispatch notification email) please contact us to report the problem (only if the recommend delivery time has expired).

If your item was due to be delivered by Parcel Force (See your dispatch notification email) please check the Despatch bay or Parcel Force website to track your item, if there are any further problems please contact us via our contact page to report the problem (only if the recommend delivery time has expired).

My order has been delivered, but some items are incorrect?
Please contact us via our contact page to report the problem at the earliest opportunity, quoting your name, order number and what is missing/incorrect in your order.
