Where to sow

Sow the seeds in trays 2cm (¾") apart, or individually into module cells, under glass at 18°C. Cover with glass or polythene to retain humidity.

What to do next

Take off cover as soon as seedlings emerge. When seedling leaves have opened prick off into 10cm (4") pots finally transplant into growing position 45cm (18") apart when first truss of bloom is showing. If growing outside gradually harden off before planting out when all danger of frost has past.
